Definitions:
“Aberoutdoors” – this includes directors, staff or agents.
“Clients”– any paying or non-paying individual or group of people taking part in any of Aberoutdoors activities.
“Claim”– includes any action, suit, proceeding, claim, demand, cost or expense however arising including but not limited to negligence.
“Activity” – applicable to services offered by Aberoutdoors. This includes stand up paddle boarding and kayaking taught under instruction or personal hire.
1: Charges
The charges agreed are based on the inflation rate at the time of printing. We reserve the right to increase prices. Any increases in charges will be notified in writing to those with provisional or confirmed bookings. Confirmed bookings within two months of arrival date will not be subject to any such increases.
2: Bookings
Provisional bookings which have been accepted by telephone or in writing will be held for 2 weeks (14) days only from the date of acceptance.
3: Confirmation
A booking is only deemed as confirmed when we have received a completed booking form and full payment. Final payment should be made prior to the course/or on the activity start date.
4: Activities:
All activities are subject to change and availability.
5: Cancellations / Reductions in numbers / Refunds
In the event of cancellations made by the customer or a reduction in numbers leading up to the booking a 25% charge will be administered to cover our expenses. A refund will be given minus the 25% fee. Aberoutdoors reserves the right to cancel a booking for whatever reason. In such a situation all monies paid to them will be refunded in full.
6: Liability:
Aberoutdoors is covered for Public Liability and Employers Liability. Anyone requiring additional cover are advised to contact their own insurance company. Aberoutdoors and its staff cannot accept liability for damage to, or loss of, personal property or accidental injury because of participation in this activity. You are advised not to bring personal items of value with you.
7: Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted in any building or during training activities.
8: Discipline:
We reserve the right to dismiss guests who persistently ignore the rules or act in a manner likely to affect the safety, comfort or well-being of other guests or staff. In such circumstances no refunds will be given. Participants are responsible for the cost of any damage to the equipment and / or property caused by misuse.
